2. Scope
This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data in connection with the use of our website codaix.gmbh (operated by codAIx GmbH). It is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and — where applicable — by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Hosting and Technical Operations
Our website is operated by an external hosting service provider. The personal data processed in this context includes in particular IP addresses, meta and communication data, and access data.
Processing is carried out for the secure, stable and efficient provision of our online offering.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
A contractual data processing agreement exists with the hosting provider where required.
4. Data Collected
4.1 Server Log Files
Each time our website is accessed, the following data is automatically collected by the hosting provider:
- IP address (anonymised)
- Date and time of access
- Page accessed
- Referrer URL
- Browser and operating system used
- Hostname of the accessing device
Retention period: Log files are automatically deleted after no more than 14 days, unless a security-related evaluation is required.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and stability).
4.2 Contact and Demo Requests
If you contact us by email, contact form or demo request, your details (name, email address, company, message) are stored to process the enquiry. This data will not be shared without your consent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Retention period: Enquiries are deleted after final processing, unless statutory retention obligations apply (up to 10 years under commercial law pursuant to Art. 958f CO).
4.3 Cookies
This website uses a technically necessary session cookie to store the selected language setting. The cookie does not contain any personal data and is automatically deleted when you close the browser. No consent is required for this (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive: technically necessary).
We do not use any tracking or marketing cookies.

- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — where we are subject to a legal obligation.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
Personal data is only disclosed to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of a contract, you have given consent, or a legal obligation exists. Where processors are used (e.g. hosting providers), they are contractually obliged to comply with data protection requirements.
7. Data Transfer Abroad
Where data is transferred to countries that do not have an adequate level of data protection, this is only done on the basis of appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses) or your explicit consent.
8. Retention Period
